Meet Our Presenters
Jim Borsig, Interim President, The Landing School
Jim Borsig was named interim president of The Landing School in January 2024. He has 25 years of senior leadership experience, including serving as a college president and twice as an interim president. A native Mississippian, he and his family moved full-time to Maine in 2018 and live on Southport in the Boothbay peninsula.
Aaron Crawford, President/CEO, Sabre Yachts
An alumnus of The Landing School, Aaron Crawford is the President/CEO at Sabre Yachts, responsible for manufacturing operations as well as supervising engineering, customer service, and warranty. A 30-year veteran of the marine industry, he held previous positions with Sparkman & Stephens Yacht Design, Carroll Marine Ltd., and Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats. In addition to his extensive industry experience, Aaron has logged several thousand miles of offshore sailing, racing, and motor yacht experience. He lives on the coast of Maine with his wife and two daughters.
Jacob Greiner, Wooden Boat Building Instructor, The Landing School
Jacob (Jake) Greiner holds a bachelor’s degree in music from Skidmore College. Like many recent college graduates, he had no idea what to do next. Jake had grown up sailing, loved boats, and enjoyed working with his hands, so he enrolled at The Landing School and graduated from the Wooden Boat Building and Yacht Design programs. His career in the marine industry included several well-respected companies and boat shops where he worked on many award-winning restorations of powerboats and sailboats. With over a decade of wooden boat building and restoration experience, he was excited to return to The Landing School and share his knowledge and experience with the next generation of boatbuilders.
